Rachel Soeth has a proven track record of obtaining successful results, including reductions and dismissals of criminal charges, and winning in jury trials.
Rachel Soeth has longstanding roots in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and particularly in Collin County. Prior to practicing law, she attended The University of Texas at Austin and majored in Biology, with a focus on the social aspects of health and disease. While in college, Rachel was a National SMART Grant Recipient and University Honors Recipient, in addition to receiving other honors. She was also a legislative assistant for Senator Robert F. Deuell and gained extensive knowledge and experience in handling legislative inquiries, researching issues related to proposed laws and legal updates, and speaking with constituents.
After college, Rachel attended the Baylor University School of Law on a Dean’s Academic Merit Scholarship. She was a Baylor Law School Student Ambassador and was also involved with the Baylor Environmental Law and Natural Resource Society and Phi Alpha Delta. Additionally, she had the opportunity to extern for Judge Jeffrey Manske in the United States District Court, Western District of Texas. Through the practical court-related programs at Baylor and her judicial externship, her passion quickly became criminal law and trial work.
Rachel is now a seasoned trial attorney who focuses on criminal, juvenile, and family law. She was previously an Assistant District Attorney with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office for nine years, where she routinely handled cases in the misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile courts. She also gained experience in appellate work and the charging of criminal cases. Her goal now is to use her background and knowledge to help clients navigate the complicated criminal justice system and to ensure that their rights are protected.
